Cấu trúc so sánh bằng dùng as + adjective/adverb + as.

• This model is as reliable as the previous one.
• The new printer works as quietly as the old one.

Phủ định thường dùng not as/so ... as.

Dùng adj/adv-er + than với từ ngắn, hoặc more + adj/adv + than với từ dài.

• faster than
• more efficient than
• less expensive than

Dùng the + adj/adv-est hoặc the most + adj/adv. Thường có phạm vi so sánh như in the department, of all models, among applicants.

• the largest branch
• the most convenient option

• good/well - better - best
• bad/badly - worse - worst
• far - farther/further - farthest/furthest
• much/many - more - most
• little - less - least
