04. Dạng động từ: V-ing, to V, V3 và mệnh lệnh: Lý Thuyết

Khi động từ đứng sau giới từ, dùng dạng V-ing.

• before submitting the form
• after reviewing the proposal
• without notifying the manager
• by reducing costs

Một số động từ thường theo sau bởi to V: want, need, plan, decide, agree, offer, expect, hope.

• We plan to expand the warehouse.
• The client agreed to revise the contract.

Một số động từ thường theo sau bởi V-ing: enjoy, avoid, consider, finish, suggest, recommend, mind.

• The manager suggested postponing the meeting.
• We finished updating the database.

Câu mệnh lệnh bắt đầu bằng động từ nguyên mẫu. Cấu trúc help thường dùng help + object + V.

• Please contact the supplier.
• Do not open the package.
• The checklist helps employees follow the procedure.
